In spite of the talking heads in the video, this is not a thin film product. While it is thin, it is NOT film.
The patented product is built with a 5" high output crystalline cell. Each 4'x8' module has over a 400 watt output. (NO THIN FILM can claim anything close to that watt density output)

Not a great idea installing them like that...it might look clever but thats about it. Multi / mono crystalline PV cells need ventilation on both sides because they lose a significant amount of efficiency once they get above their rated output temperature (usually about 25 degrees celcius). In summer, lying flat on that concrete roof they would get very hot and not produce anywhere near their full potential output. They have also ignored solar orientation..they need to be tilted not flat.

I converted my home to a net-zero solar powered home that uses no oil or gas either...not sure how hot the roof will get since it is white....

in a flat roof doesnt it have to be a certain angle for them to produce the maximum amount of energy ? What is the cost for such a procedure ?

@ChrisF3F3
Please do not confuse these panels with similar looking ones from lumeta - these are made by open energy (former name - they changed the brand, but idea is the same).
